Panamericana
The Panamericana is inspired from the original 300SL by Mercedes Benz. This particular model from Gullwing-America has been modified to accomodate today’s technology like air condition, electronic windshield wipers, power steering, HID headlights, heated rear window and a modern radio with retro look.
We love the slick lines and also the gullwing doors which made this car a true icon.

GO GREEN
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We just finished watching this documentary from National Geographic about Heineken beer. It’s amazing to see how much work, research and human taste goes into producing this iconic beer. Heineken even offers a factory tour where you can watch behind the scenes and also sample the famous beer after the tour.
We just learned that a lot of thought went into the logo design and branding of this company. They chose green because it’s a friendly color and also relates to the natural base of the ingredients. The “e” in the logo was hand drawn by one of the family members and if you look close, it’s in an angle to imitate a “smiling” face.
Before you get drunk or while you are sober, watch this amazing documentary to find out more facts about this particular brand of beer.
Cheers! HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY - Drink Responsibly.

Remember when cameras had no “auto” functions and the photographer actually had knowledge on proper settings of how to shoot a subject? Here are some vintage cameras that we love for their mechanical functions and design.
With the trend of M4/3 (micro four thirds) retro designs like the Fuji Xp-Pro 1 and Olympus OM-D E-M5 are the buzz of the moment, we hope to see more companies do re-issues of their classic designs.
BLACK+YELLOW
This sneaker just caught our eyes from Camper. We like their description of the designer “Bernhard Willhelm is a German designer who collaborates with Camper for the seventh season. He works according to his own rules and not conform to the system that governs the fashion world. He has an artistic flair. He is brilliant and provocative, brazen and fun, eclectic and unpredictable. He is known for always staying one step ahead of the latest trends.”
Fun, eclectic and unpredictable those are the best words to describe the Willhelm shoe.

LIGHT JARS
The members of the Light Jars family all have different postures and proportions, but the same neck size. The lid holding the light source resembles the power plug on the other end of the cord, considering the poetic notion of power transmission as a life-giving source.
Materials: Hand-turned oak, Mouth-blown glass, Textile-covered electrical cord.

We know it’s still winter and too early to be dreaming of hot summer days. Perhaps we are wishing too soon when we stumbled on this beauty. Nicknamed The Bald Terrier 1200 is based on a Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. Other components like the exhaust, wheels and gas tank were customized for this bike.
